Lakefront Days Sampling and Brew Demo

August 5th, 2016 marked the first official public tasting offered by Boathouse Brothers Brewing Company, and we absolutely could not have been happier with the results. It was wonderful to meet all of the people excited to have a brewery finally aiming to start up right here in our hometown. I think I must have answered the question "where are you guys located at?" at least a couple hundred times. If you weren't one of the multitudes who asked, but are still anxious to find out where you can get a pint or a growler to go, I'll paraphrase all of my Friday night explanations here. We are still scouting a location for our brewery and have a little bit of work yet to make sure we settle on the right one. We definitely plan on being a part of this great city of Prior Lake, but we want to make sure we start up in a location that we can operate at and sustain for the foreseeable future.

A very big thank you to everyone who stopped out to visit us at the beer tent and sampled a few of the brews including our State Representative Eric Pratt. Eric was enthusiastic about another brewery working hard to start up in his district and even volunteered to throw on a shirt and pour out a few taster glasses for the eager crowd.
